MLB Mr. Potato Head

也不知道為什麼翻成「蛋頭先生」，明明就是馬鈴薯......

第一次看到蛋頭先生是在1995年PIXAR的卡通《玩具總動員》中，只記得這個傢伙整天掉五官，想討老婆，以及講冷笑話……殊不知這位先生早在1952就已經出生啦！足足比我早了30多年，真是失敬失敬~~

1950年代早期，美國George Learner先生常從他老媽的花園拿些馬鈴薯，並且運用各種水果及蔬菜當他的臉部表情，並且把它當作妹妹的玩偶。最後，葡萄眼、紅蘿蔔鼻和馬鈴薯頭卻成為日後這個塑膠玩具的最大特徵！！ 近期還配合許多電影推出，蜘蛛人和《變型金剛》中的柯博文都有相關蛋頭推出~~


這回新加坡堂姊從羅德島來台，剛移民美國的她，想必也知道王建民（傷快好啊！！）以及洋基在台灣火紅的程度，於是準備了二顆蛋頭當作送我的禮物，每個蛋頭有11個零件，球、球棒、手套、投手帽、打擊帽一應俱全，還多附加一組很冏的表情。查了官網，一顆差不多16美金，折合台幣480元，雖說不是頂貴重的玩具，但說實在的，還是有點捨不得拆開來。

但說到這兩顆蛋頭，一顆洋基的是Mr. Potato，另一顆是紅襪的是Mrs. Potato Head，難道要循著羅密歐與茱麗葉的模式……應該不太可能吧！！
